Scope of service

Jomia Transport LLC, operating as Jomia Med Transport, provides non-emergency transportation and mobility assistance. We do not provide medical, clinical or emergency services of any kind. In an emergency, call 911.

Scheduling and confirmation

Trips are confirmed by phone or email before the day of travel. Requests submitted without a confirmation from us are not scheduled trips. Booking 24 to 48 hours ahead gives the best availability.

Cancellations and changes

Please notify us as early as possible if a trip changes or is no longer needed so the vehicle can be reassigned. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee, which will be explained before booking.

Assistance limits

Drivers assist with walking to and from the vehicle, boarding, wheelchair securement and personal bags. Drivers do not perform lifting beyond safe transfer assistance and do not provide in-home care.

Rider conduct and safety

Seat belts and mobility securement are required at all times. We may decline or end a trip where safety cannot reasonably be maintained.

Pricing

Fares depend on distance, vehicle type and assistance level and are quoted before the trip. Wait time and additional stops may affect the final amount.
